DAY 1: Arusha/Moshi – Machame Gate – Machame Camp
Your 7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route begins with pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi before transferring to Machame Gate (1,795 m) for registration. Meet your mountain crew and begin your trek through the lush montane rainforest, where towering trees, colorful birds, and playful monkeys create an unforgettable first day on the mountain. After approximately five to seven hours of trekking, arrive at Machame Camp (2,835 m) for dinner and your first overnight stay.
