Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure begins with pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Nairobi hotel, or residence. Meet your safari guide before departing for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy scenic stops at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint and Narok Town before arriving at your safari camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and many more wildlife species.

Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day wildlife safari. nExplore the endless savannah while tracking the Big Five and many other African wildlife species. Visit the famous Mara River, home to large pods of hippos and enormous Nile crocodiles. During the migration season (July–October), witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the river in one of nature’s greatest spectacles. Return to camp in the evening.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Isebania Border – Serengeti National Park

Enjoy breakfast before an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village where you can learn about Maasai customs, traditional dances, and daily life. Continue toward the Isebania Border where you’ll complete immigration formalities before meeting your Tanzanian safari guide. Drive into the magnificent Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife viewing en route to your camp.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Accompanied by your experienced safari guide, you’ll explore diverse habitats in search of the Big Five and a remarkable variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and hundreds of colorful bird species. Throughout the day, your guide will use their local knowledge to maximize wildlife sightings while sharing fascinating insights into the park’s unique ecosystem and animal behavior.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a morning game drive before departing Serengeti for the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  The journey offers more wildlife sightings and breathtaking landscapes before arriving at Simba Camp overlooking the crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and numerous bird species. After enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend the crater rim and drive to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Arusha – Namanga Border – Nairobi

After breakfast, transfer to the shuttle bus returning to Nairobi via the Namanga Border. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya & Tanzania Safari.
